Rankin

He's not a FG winger, it has been shown on multiple occasions this year and today was no different.

I reckon Rankin is Moltzen's long lost twin !
He must do a Stella job of detailing JT's car each week !

Thought he was fine today apart from that early drop ball. Dont blame him for being pushed out, that was a hospital from Teddy.

Looked sharp out of dummy half and made good metres a couple of times when we were struggling for momentum.

if he kicked those goals - we wouldn't of had to go down to the wire.

A bit harsh on Rankin. He kicked the goals that counted and they weren't all easy. He came back well after dropping the ball early and took a couple of important catches on his line with Dragons seemingly ready to score. A good tradesman like effort.

Agree with this.

Addo-Carr was poor in NSW Cup yesterday too, so we don't exactly have someone knocking down the door. He scored 2 tries (one of which was a length of the field intercept), but he also bombed 2 tries and defended poorly.

Ordinary winger, suspect under high ball, gets pushed back and man handled easily, tries hard but just isn't a first grader ,no other club would want him.

Not a winger and not in our best 17\. Been saying since start of season. Tradesman like yes… but not what we need.

Why can't the coach see this this.

I like Rankin, I really do, but JT has done him no favours by playing on the wing for practically the entire season. I really don't know what the coach expects from him out there! As far as I know, he has never played on the wing in his short career. I would love to see what he could do playing in his right position.

Justin Hunt is a proven NRL winger who can also kick goals - he would've been a far better option to groom into first grade this season, but no, even with three quarters of the season gone, JT has persisted with the Rankin on the wing experiment even though it has been an obvious failure - I just don't get it.

Better dummy half than winger…

Been thinking for a while he could go good at 9\. I would be playing him off the bench at hooker. He also covers every position in the backline in of injury.

if he can't kick goals someone please remind me why he is in the team?
With all due respect.

It's about the team Vibe, you must know about the Vibe,
Our Vibe is better when Rankin is in the team
The other reason may be that Rankin drops off a brown paper bag at Taylors step on Monday morning, but I haven't been able to confirm that. Taylor s too quick to grab it :astonished:
