I think Hadley is great. He puts himself out there and does a lot of good for a lot of people through his radio program. While he does get a few people offside through the way he goes about getting things done, you can't argue with the ratings which he wins in his timeslots throughout the week and on weekends.
Personally I've never taken to Voss, I used to love boots n all that was great. But the Sunday Roast was a joke. He carried on like an absolute muppet when he was running it.
Give Hadley a few weeks to adjust back to television, I'm sure he'll learn to relax a bit as the season goes on. He does radio just about all day every day and it'd be a hard thing to change your style over night.
I think its a nice breath of fresh air into Friday night footy.

I enjoy his football commentary over gould and rab, voss sterling and the like , but as a radio announcer to me he is just too angry . he needs to lighten up .. but he does do heaps for the underprivelledged.
Who wouldnt win the ratings after following GLORIA who has half of sydney listening to him .Put hadley at 2sm and see how his ratings go .

You would be surprised. The reason Singo signed him from 2UE is he needed someone to try and tackle John Laws. Not only did he tackle him but he also put him out of business. Hadley doesn't need the lead in from Alan Jones. He never did.

I love Ray's enthusiasm. It's infectious.

Lockyer…. well.... I just think it's taking the piss putting a microphone up to him so often. The guy can hardly talk.

I am not a fan. He calls a TV game like he does on radio..i.e. as if you cant see the game. A motor mouth bore if ever there was one.

Not a fan on either media. talks way to much.

Mind you the normal pairing waffle on about cap as well.

Andrew Loss for mine

Best piece of advice Hadley got was to never let his listeners know him.
The guy is an A grade jerk and has the biggest head in radio and TV.
Ask anyone who knows him….

He sucked up Gould's rear end yesterday, saying what a shame it was for penrith, knowing full well Gus is the Football CEO out there. Rarely did he give our boys much credit for inflicting the second 30 nil loss on the panthers, 2 weeks in a row,
It was also a record for us since the joint venture, the first time we have held a team to zero.

I agree 100% with this post. Hadley is streets ahead in ratings midweek and is what is needed for ch9\. Im sick of listening to Ray Warren and his stupid moronic sidekick Phil Gould.

On that basis we might as well get Kyle Sandilands to call the games…

I have also heard that. I met Daryl Brohman at Bankstown Trots many years ago and this was when they had the falling out at 2UE. HE didn't say many nice things about him.
I also believe he has let his success go to his head a little but he does deserve the $$$. He is a workaholic and is the best football caller in the game.

I also liked Graham Hughes. I think I would enjoy Ray Warren more without Phil Gould.

He wouldn't fit into the commentary box.
