Could you imagine if by miracle this new look team works and we go on a roll winning 3 straight lol

The forum would implode.

Happy will run down the main street of Gladstone naked while holding up a poster of Luke Brooks while yelling out I love you Luke

God I hope we draw the 3rd game

Absolutely no excuses with Ponga out...

The Knights are very ordinary, but he creates so many tries from nothing for them. He is worth 18 points alone.

There edge forwards run great lines and we will make them look even better when they run at our smaller bodies.

I wonder if Douhie will still be the last person sending up floating bombs? Or will Brooks be kicking to the corner with his bombs.. or Mbye, not sure where he kicks.. but most likley passing to Brooks to once again.. a normal kick to the oppositions winger.

I wonder if that Ghshabiki is playing again.

Doueihi has forgotten how to kick them. Stuff like this only happens at the Tigers.

He said in a interview he tries it in warmup, if its coming off he'll use it in game.
If its not he doesnt try it

Sounds like its a fairly high risk kick

If I remember correctly it was a match last season against Manly with West tigers just behind on the scoreline when Brooks, not Douehi, sent up a huge bomb which landed on the Manly line. Doehi call it on the full to score a try which helped Wests Tigers win the match.

We have it in the bag... said who?

I think it is only fair we drop our best back / chief playmaker as well ......make it a contest ......

Sporting News:

13 May 2021
The Knights have been dealt a massive blow on the eve of the NRL's Magic Round with Kalyn Ponga ruled out of their clash with the Tigers.

Ponga is expected to miss at least two games with an adductor injury picked up in the win over the Raiders, seeing him unavailable for Newcastle's round 11 match against North Queensland as well.

Breaking News - Broncos snare in-demand Reynolds
Young utility back Tex Hoy will come into the side at fullback, reprising the role he held for the opening four rounds of the season while Ponga was sidelined with injury.

The Knights went 2-2 in those clashes, while they've gone 2-3 since Ponga returned.

It becomes sad when as supporter you get excited when one of the top players in the opposing side is ruled out and you think we could jag a win !

He’s not. He’s actually not that bad of a player, just had an absolute shocker against us. It happens.

Cini haters might well remember that.

Thank you Faiders... I mean Raiders...
That's possibly 3 less tries we concede.
We're in with a chance I reckon.
Plus after listening to Gus Gould's podcast, it's kinda... sorta... impossible not to have hope.
I'd love for our club to bring him in, to set us straight and point us in the right direction.
Whether or not the board is on-board is another matter, but what harm could it possibly do...

How many of us think that Mbye will come off after the initial softening period to be replaced by Jock Madden at 6.

Madge is actively planning / blooding the players of the future now

Well, the future is looking grim. Madden is ordinary. At best.

Get used to it most of the junior halves look ordinary until they play at least 30 NRL games in ordinary sides. Play anyone at the Tigers at halfback and they will battle.

Luke Brooks has played more than 150 games and he's yet to even reach a level that could be perceived as ordinary

Played in poor teams and was dally m halfback of the year albeit award is wrong. He’s no scrub can play but we are a mess and he’s not the solution.

Well all you suckers on this great forum that death ride the Club, the Coach and the Players..good old TT had to work until about 11.00pm last night and had to miss the Mighty Maggies game, however while at work TT ran into one of his mates daughters who happens to be leaving at 4.00am to head up to magic round with her husband, she is a Raiders tradgic as is her hubby...
TT gave them $20 bucks and said "you put in $20 and we will have $40 on the Mighty Tigers all up the Raiders....at least TT puts his money where his heart is...I think it could be a good bet, although the faiders are on a slide they have to win to be a chance at the top 8 as well as saving some face after resent games...

Yes 100%, round 17 last season at lottoland, as usual miracle comeback Doueihi playing in centres and scores with 3min remaining and seals it.
