Finally saw the potiential of KPP when he gets involved...but my god he can be lazy...his first half was woeful but to be fair the whole team was.... walking 3 minutes into the 2nd half getting back for a manly kick...
his arm grabbing defence
and just allowing the attack to pass him by...the game often passes him by and hes just a passenger.
So hot and cold.

I agree but it’s interesting when people say he is lazy. He still somehow made 47 tackles & around 100mtrs. I also counted 14 decoy runs and only 1 in which he wasn’t back onside before the play the ball. Outside of the good shiny stuff.

I think he is being used totally wrong and being over worked because of it. A guy his size & his frame with those numbers is going to be gassed quickly.
 
Surely Newcastle are regretting signing Dylan Brown on that ridiculous contract. All they really needed was a half that gets their forwards moving upfield and then using the attacking weapons in Sharpe and Ponga to tear teams apart. They totally changed their style of play in the second half from those stupid dummy runners and constantly going out the back or cutting back inside to actually using their full backline and offloads. I think someone might have told AOB to pull his head in and give the team a bit of free reign.
 
Cowboys have been getting some very nice calls tonight already.

Few forwards passes not called, taking a runner out chasing a kick and that chicken wing tackle gets a penalty but was very clear and should have been sin binned (100% if it was a Tigers player) .
 
HTF do they get a set restart whilst being tackled on the last after the kick ? What the actual …….the nrl refs are a joke ..

And Madge gets all the negative media about being too intense.
