Rd 22 discussion

The rules or whatever played no part tonight bar one dodgy roosters try...chooks were just superior in every facet...penalties and 6 to goes were even...possesion was 64/36 chooks they just carved the cowboys up...short turn around.and historically always being flat after they play the broncos, low thurs night crowd at t'ville didnt help

Rugby league has not been kind this year.
Both teams I follow have been disgraceful at times and gutless too often. QLD shat the bed.
Kangaroos will lose the WC to top it off…..
Bring on the cricket lol.
Why do we get this feeling about this time every season it's so F predictable, such a punish.

Thank you Cowboys for making me feel a bit better about some of the recent Tigers results.

Wild to think Cowboys have now both conceded the highest ever NRL-era score, and scored the previous equal-highest ever NRL-era score.

I think it's a terrible look for the game and the direction it is heading in. No fan wants to be supporting teams with the possibility to get beaten at that record breaking level.
The speed of the game, the demands of a long season, the travelling which is going toward a ridiculous level, the lack of quality shared across the competition despite a salary cap to make it more even, - it should be a concern.

You ain't seen nothing yet. Wait till next year when Perth gets to play.

In my opinion PVL and Abdo have destroyed our game. Men are obviously not horses so making the game faster does not make it better.

I have never seen so many lob sided scores due to the rule changes and idiocy of one man.

PVL needs to go.
Struggle to watch games these days, mainly because the referee now controls the possession flow and the team that has even a small advantage of possession wins. When a team has 10% or more possession than the other teams, you than get blow outs.

Also there is just not enough talent to spread around all franchises and what talent there is tends to be spread over a few clubs. In saying the above the Cowboys have plenty of good footballers on their roster, so I was surprised to see the flogging.

Next few years could see some really ugly score lines but I think PVL will be telling Anersley to keep the blow down by having a chat to the refs.

Anyway I have nearly got myself off my NRL addiction and other than this forum spend very little time watching and losing sleep over the game
