Walsh celebrating his embarrassment of drinking out of a toilet bowl like a scummy druggo…classy stuff
I haven’t seen much of him as a player, or even the Broncos at all this season, but after watching tonight he’s gone straight to the top of the most punchable face list. He exudes so much arrogance.

The Broncos as a team are really impressive though. Snatched 4th place and are peaking at the right time. Melbourne, on the other hand, are looking shot and nothing like the Melbourne of old. I can’t see them going far from here, though I do hope and pray they at least flog the Dogs next week!

Bellyache was talking about Storm's probs with defence - 70 points in two games. What I saw was Storm trying to slow the ruck riiiiiight down and Atkins not putting up with it. Without that cheat code, Storm gave up a ton of penalties and they leaked points. They need Klein reffing in an Origin way to win the comp.
This is where the game is flawed..

Because a team could play that way all season and then 2 rounds before semis the refs start interpreting the game different..

I wish they applied the same ruck rules all year.. no Interpretation.. just rules that are applied.

They were walking a tight rope.
They could’ve been penalised so many more times (and sin binned) with the holding down in the ruck -now teams have a blueprint of how to beat the Storm, quick play the balls and offloads that they just couldn’t control, just arm grabbing tackling, not Storm of old, that’s for sure!!!

Why in the hell did Melbourne rush Hughes back? They had second sown up and could have easily given him the extra week. Now his season is done and most likely the club’s too as a result.
Isn’t it a new injury and not recurrence of the previous shoulder problem? Therefore not caused by being rushed back.

Could have happened early next week as well.

But it happened last night. There was no need for him to play. Very un-Storm like.
Storm needed to hone their combinations, and to send a message.

In a way, it's better to lose Hughes in this game than in the semi. They can focus on their combos with Wishart and Pezit in training rather than readjust during a game.

I hope Storm beat the Dogs. Galvin doesn't deserve to be rewarded any further for faking a bullying claim to get an early release.

But if his shoulder is all good, how was him playing any different to Munster, Pap or any other out there?
The is arguably more reason to play him (assuming the shoulder was good) given he might need half a game to find his rhythm and get some confidence in his shoulder and they can't afford to have him doing this in a finals game.

They are not the same team as in previous years, much more desperate and not as resilient. I guess it had to happen sooner or later, not withstanding Penrith’s 4 glorious years, they’ve been the benchmark team for so long now.

Even Bellamy said it was a mistake.
