I certainly wouldn't, good player but personally think Austin has more to his game then Hampton.

Agreed. Hampton is okay, but in my opinion Austin is going to be better in the end and is now.

Can't afford him, the storm think he is a future origin player, they know what they are missing out on.

For once we are okay for six and seven and we are okay up front. Any available money has to be directed at the out side backs in particular the 3 and 4\. I would also like a guy who can play nine on a second tier contract, but I would imagine Cherrington will be used next year as Farahs fill in

Mate we have quality centres, we just need to give them a shot. Once you see Taukafua play you will be singing his praises all the way home from Concord.

Mate I get to a few state cup games and see a bit of the u20s, Iam not convinced we have anyone who is a standout, Taukafua looks good but Iam not sure he offers much more than what we have. Time will tell, because Iam sure a couple will be given a go at the back end of the season when we are out of the running for the top eight

Fair enough, you would probably know more than I do. At this time next year we will also be looking for a replacement for Patty.

Seve has potential, but is a long way away at this stage.
Manufacturing a talented player into a centre could be the go.
Buying one looking for an opportunity might be easier.
My dream youngster would be Robert Jennings, but he is young and Penrith love him.
Aaron gray is a possibility also.
We wont have cap for an established centre.

What about the possibility of Santi as a centre - good defender and reasonably quick - anyone got thoughts.

Milone is the bloke to focus on from a Tigers pov
He has heaps of skill , just needs to learn when to pass and when to run
He would be at least 2-3 years away

We need two of them to fill the boots of Richards & Lawrence. My picks would be Hoeter & Martin to make a transition to centre. I haven't seen anything good from seve from the games I have seen.

seves been injured most of the year, barely played. but when he has he's been fine.

Of those Seve, Hoeter, Taukafa, Fine and Martin will play first grade at some stage. Milone is a fair way off those guys when it comes to ability, if not for his leadership skills he may not have got much of a run in NYC.
Satterthwaite may not have the size for first grade.
The thing is of those kids mentioned all of them would be better than our current centres. Their defence may not be perfect, but no worse than our current centres, but all would offer far more in attack!

He is not, I said we wont be able to get an established centre (of quality) under the cap.
He was the best junior prospect in my mind. IN fact I think he is a star in the making.
I dont think we have a prospect of NRL standard at our club, Seve might get there, but would require a good solid development.

I dont think he is any chance.
He has not progressed in the last 2 years and I think has not given anywhere near enough given his pedigree and opportunity.
Strong NYC player at best, who should have developed more.
Seve has potential and may develop into an NRL plyer if he works ahrd and continues to improve, Milone started at a similar point (maybe slightly behind) but did not improve at the rate you would like..
Milone will not be offered a fulltime contract next year.
