Recent site outage

The website was down this morning for a bit over an hour.

This was due to one of the other sites being hosted on our server being attacked (DDoS).
We are now back online, but some people may be having trouble reaching the home page. This is unavoidable as it was due to a countermeasure at the hosting company.

The good news is that it will begin to correct itself over the next few hours

It's still offline for some
will take up to 24 hours to fix itself
if people are still having problems they should try using a different IP address, otherwise they will just have to wait for the fix to propergate through the interwebz

just an update on this

People who tried to access the forum during the outage will still be having problems
if anyone is still having trouble, flushing your local DNS cache will resolve the problem.

Otherwise it will happen automatically within 24 hours. Another option is to just use another computer that didn't try to access the site during the outage

i had been having trouble to log on for the last week. it was constantly saying my details were incorrect…i was just about to make a 2nd account but i wanted to try one last time and thankfully i'm back :slight_smile:

Is this the error where it comes up with "Default Website Page"? I tried to follow the instructions but it is still coming up on the main page. I have found a way to get into the forum without going through the main page but this is not ideal.
