Reddy & Koribete

I thought Reddy was good against Newcastle too tbh. This is a guy that in his last real full season in first grade got the nod for RLW most underrated player in the players poll so that's gotta count for something.

been saying that for a while now.. reddy didnt get a proper go last year, just like aysh lawrence etc. not to mention he was coming back from a season ending injury. im glad he got a go in the starting 13 under potter.

reddy will be as solid as solid can get.. he was our replacement for mitch brown. he wont make 20 m a hit up but he will make 8-10 everytime. his speed is deceptive, yet he is fast enough. great under the high ball. defense needs more work but that will come after some gametime.. good luck

err reddy didn't play against newcastle, did he? I thought he replaced utai after HIS performance at hunter stadium.

He's like a Beau Ryan without the charisma and fluke once in a while tries.

Add in less luck with injury for Reddy and you have a bang on description between the two.

Pettybourne dropped off the bench and Reddy played against Knights, Reddy went to the wing when Utai came off.

My bad, i kinda tuned out a bit in the middle 40, half watched it. Didn't really wanna see the final score :/

Reddy actually didnt defuse one bomb on Sunday.

I think if Utai played on sunday he would have had a picnic. Maybe with our front row problems he needs to do some extra fitness work and become a front rower.

Listen new guy, Reddy didnt have to diffuse a bomb Sunday because which opposition kicker would have success on Reddy's edge? Reddy shuts down that option in the oppositions play book.

he may not have defused the bomb but he defused the chances to score.. i think they kicked to him twice and both times he made full attempt at catching the ball. he's only gonna get better from this.

Exactly Sheens mucked him around like so many others(Moors,Head) the list is endless,Reddy is a decent player,a centre who can cover other spots,he defended for Grothe for many seasons,I rate him.

Actually it was more bad luck on Penriths side, plus there was alot of protection from Benji and Aysh. Im not being harsh on Reddy I just think someone needs to defend Utai with the amount of rubbish written on here about probably one of our toughest players in the last 2 years. Obviously we now know hes been carrying a neck injury. But just like previous situations in eg: 2011 broken arm vs Dragons. Just played on. He sure shows alot more steel then some of the cowards on here having a go at him.

Fair point he carried the team last year to respectable level.

Totally agree, he has a heart as big as his body, but as mentioned before, he ain't gonna grow any taller or bee fast enough for the young guys coming through. Maybe he should work on his fitness and be a outside replacment for the forwrds?
