Who..?

Not the worst.

Really…?

not one to usually blame refs but that was disgusting..

Their first half was fairly decent, the wheels completely fell off that 2nd half though, especially in the last 20 minutes

I can't believe there was no offside penalty in front of the sticks for us. Marsters made the wrong decision running from dummy half, but if that were us up the other end they wouldn't have hesitated penalising us.

Yet they get a penalty when Ferguson drops the ball cold for markers not being square , the markers were no where near him when he dropped it then at our end ref said it’s a penalty every day of the week yet minutes later we don’t get one :deadhorse:

2 tackles in a row, after pinging ET 2 minutes earlier after Ferguson dropped the ball 10m out from his own line.

This. Taylor was not square but was retreating and not involved before the drop. They got down the other end and are gifted 2 points after a dubious pass.

Sick of the referees working against us this year. We lose the broncos game when our markers are Square and still get penalised yet today we should have had a penalty on 3 occasions and they don’t blow it. Absolute joke.

The Ferguson penalty and then the refs allowing Easts to lay all over us and be completely offside for the last minute was horrendous. It shits me when people say we didn’t do enough to win, yeah maybe that’s true but neither did the Roosters, they were just as bad. Don’t see why they should get to win off the back off horrible calls when we didn’t get any our way

Refs completely choked in the last 5 mins. Twice Cronk had a second shot at the tackled player and no call was made.

Even though the ref got it wrong in the Broncos game I'd rather they have the guts to blow a penalty than let the moment get to them and swallow the whistle.

Think Ivan erred by not bringing on Packer and Mats five minutes earlier though.

We were all waiting for it …. expecting it ...... but oh that's right .... we're Wests Tigers .... we only lose that way.

I'm sorry but that is just flat out corruption. The commentators were flat out gobsmacked by a string of absolutely outrageous decisions. A series of insane forward passes and roosters just miles offside.

I find myself questioning why certain penalties go against us.

To be honest, I thought we were fairly disciplined today. The Roosters were given 7 penalties in a row during that second half.

Seems to happen to us in every game - the 20 minutes after half-time we are starved of possession off the back a a 6 or 7 - 0 penalty count. Not sure if this is statistically accurate, just feels that way recently.

Has warea Hargreaves got off Reynolds yet?

Haha stood out didn't it?

I'm all for refs not blowing borderline penalties if they are consistent about it, but Roosters got a few really soft ones, two that were converted. If you are blowing soft penalties, ok, do it every time. As noted the Fergo dropsy stood out, completely irrelevant that the markers were so slightly not square.

The end-match offsides were obvious enough to commentators and journos, they blew 19 penalties in the game, but changed their style with 10 to go.

They had a good first half, but the penalty count was certain to even up in the second. Forget about the rules of the game, quotas and KPI's are more important.
