Reflections - Finals

I personally wanted to see the Eels phenomena end today, but still chuckle at the Sea Eagles demise, and shake my head at the Dragons choke.
I would like to see next week:
1\. Titans win
2\. Saints win (over the Broncos too).
3\. Injury to Ennis in training.
4\. Indescretion by Slater off the field which removes him from the rest of the final series.

and the winner is….......
maybe Saints because I think they have been the best team overall this year????? On their day any of the teams left could win.
What does everybody else think, wish, contemplate for 2009

I would like to see the Titans win it but just can't see them beating the Eels - Brisbane will beat Saints- Finals - Eels V Bulldogs 50/50 if Kimmorley plays probably the dogs - neither side winning excites me - Brisbane V Melbourne - should have been the GF - will pick Melbourne because of home ground
GF - Melb v Bulldogs - Melbourne easily

What really annoys me and i mean REALLY ANNOYS ME is that way we were playing towards the end we have the measure of all these sides.

I would have liked to have seen a Dogs vs Eels GF, but that can't happen.

My tips:

Week 2:
Eels 48 vs Titans 10
Broncos 30 vs Dragons 16

Week 3:

Eels 26 vs Bulldogs 24
Broncos 25 vs Storm 18

Grand Final:
(6th vs 8th!)

Eels 20 vs Broncos 12

I don't mind the Eels when they aren't playing us. I've said all along the Dragons won't make the Grand Final and the Dogs aren't playing well enough. Storm and Broncos I both dislike, but the Storm more, so Broncos through the the GF.

I think you are right, but many team can beat many teams on their day this year. I find it exciting that no team is sure of even a place int he GF. This is a close competition…...which makes for a great finale

Parra will look hard to beat, and as ive thought all week they threw that game last friday to get the media off them and to make the dragons think it was going to be a walk in the park

But if Noddy can get back the doggies are a chance, but if not i cant see them doing anyhting the knights had no ball last night and still scored 12

I can see a Parra Storm grand final. If Parra play well, no team can come close to them.

now the pressure is really on the dragons to win. will they win, or be eliminated next week-end ?
broncos will be aiming for 7 wins in a row, and dragons looking to stop de- ja vu happening again.
as for the other teams they all look like they enjoying their time in the finals.
.
if dragons lose, goes to show its no use being one of the dominant teams all season, need to win games in the finals as well :unamused:
