Refs mistakes may cost a grand final

Listening to abc radio today and the old cliche about refs making a mistake in a finals came up.
This sort of rubbish angers me the disgraceful call against us in the dogs game denied us a win and 2 points, it forced us to play extra time and resulted in the most critical player in our team breaking his hand. a classic 1 2 punch.
The result is we have to play the following 2 games without our captain and best player and we have to force one of our best defensive players out of position to fill the gap. Who gets injured…
We don't lose to the dogs we don't lose farah, we likely don't get pumped by the roosters. The roosters loss was psychological, we didn't turn up to play. That incompetent decision cost us that game, probably the next and certainly a place in the finals.
So enough of the throw away lines about referee mistakes deciding finals, it decided our season.
I sincerely hope a refereeing blunder costs a grand final maybe then something will be done.

I wouldn't mind the Doggies losing the grand final off a ridiculous obstruction call

Hard to argue that…..it certainly ''earned'' them a minor premiership.

But I cant agree with what happens later, yes a ref error cost us a game......but to draw a long bow and try and use it for the next two weeks......thats excessive
Teams have squads to cover for injuries....us not being there (Roosters game) in the head had nothing to do with the ref the week before....its all to do with us being mentally weak, not arriving with the right attitude.... and comes back to the coach

yeah they've been bending the rules in every single game of the year. You'd think at the Coaches conference there will be 15 coaches arguing for the rule to be reinterpreted.

also I wouldn't mind seeing Dessie the king whinger going off lol.

also agree with your second point, we've got bigger problems than one poor refereeing performance

wests-tigers mistakes, cost them any chance of being in the finals.

yes some ref errors may have contributed.

must admit and accept that wests-tigers were their own worst enemy.

Exacly weatTAHger….WE are the reason we are not playing finals footy.

The refs have been aweful and did cost us a win v the dogs....they also gifted us a win v the sharks but didnt cost us our season.

That being said, a complete overhaul is needed to some rules as the different interpretations and rulings are a joke.

Yes Farah got hurt in GP,but Sheens had all week to pick the players up,he also didn't have to shuffle the players all around again to cover 1 injury, the buck stops at Sheens end of story.
