Release Moltzen first

He should be the first to go wtf are the club thinking trying to sell Ryan and Heighno, when a bloke who has 0 form and doesn't show half the heart these too do get's a 3 year deal, what is going on? If we have salary cap problems release him first we already have more then better replacments waiting, add to that Lote has apparently re-signed what are our recruitment and retention people thinking?

The following is (according to Wikipedia) the list of 2012 contracted players. I will order them from least to most important to retain in my eyes. I've omitted those confirmed leaving.

Spence
Reddy
Iosefa
Meaney
Politoni
Grant
Blair
Moltzen
Humble
Tuqiri
Utai
Groat
Simona
Ayshford
Bell
Heighington
Fotuiaka
Miller
Ryan
Koroibete
Murdoch-Masila
Sironen
Galloway
Fulton
Tedesco
Lawrence
Marshall
Woods
Farah

As you can see Farah is at the bottom, yet there are murmurs of him leaving (should NEVER be the case, he should be locked up for life right now). There are also a stack of players that should be gone way before Ryan and Heighington. Them leaving is certainly not the end of the world but you don't move on club stalwarts in this manner.

He should never have been here in 2012 let alone the for the next 3 years. He can play in many positions but is next to useless in all of them

My packing order is:

Spence
Reddy
Moltzen
Tuqiri
Iosefa
Meaney
Politoni
Heighington
Miller
Grant
Blair
Humble
Utai
Groat
Simona
Ayshford
Bell
Fotuiaka
Ryan
Koroibete
Murdoch-Masila
Sironen
Galloway
Fulton
Tedesco
Lawrence
Marshall
Woods
Farah

I guess one of the reasons, besides the fact that our administration is quite hopeless, is that as far as Moltzen is concerned, no other club would want him.

I agree that Moltzen should be on the chopping block.

Reality is that I would love to see Heighno at WT under a different coach to judge him but failing that I think Bell is a superior alternative with a reduced price tag. The kind of money CWH deserves at this stage of his career with WT would make it impossible to not name him in First Grade every weekend and on form I think we have better options for that lock position.

Spence matured greatly as a player before injury and is one I would retain

no chance of the useless moltzen going while the incompetent sheens is here.
as well as sheens' influence, now everyone has had a chance to see moltzen play, noone would want him.

You do wonder how they can view Moltzen higher than Ryan. Especially when Ryan outplayed Moltz in each position they both had played.

X2
Moltzen is hopeless he has no confidence and no ability in any position, where as beau has played his heart out all year even when he wasn't in his preferred position

Can anyone remember how Moltzen went as a centre. I don't know why but I just have no real memory of how he went there but he has played a fair few games of NRL there.

Anyone remember?

This is unfathomable. We resign Moltzen for 3 seasons and release contracted players to relieve salary cap pressure? There is no logic or common sense in the administration of this club. It's so sad to watch how things have panned out.

Ryan: Plays his ring out, one of the most consistent players in any otherwise abysmal year: Club renegs on his deal, shops him out.

Moltzen: Isn't a fullbacks rear end, had a crap season and shouldn't have been playing for the club in 2012 anyway: Gets a three year extension.

Business, WT style.

He played like he does in every other position: shithouse.

I actually think Moltzen would be better at centre than anywhere else. He's got pace, isn't entirely immune to passing, can defend alright, is dangerous close to the line … he'd be better than Ayshford lol.

You guys are joking Moltzen has heaps of talent which was shown in the game against the dragons he can win you a game more than Ryan & Heithington & he has more talent than both.

More or less…Unfortunately 😢
