REPORT CARD

The NRL website has done a yearly review of every team in the comp, here is the tigers review:

I think its pretty spot on. What do you guys think?

A good wrap. The only thing not discussed is our overall kicking game, which I think is inferior to many, and the fact that we never seem to get a 1 week injury.

Came across that article last night and thought I had seen it elsewhere, but yeah, it's a pretty good summation of the Tigers season. Again it highlights how important those 1 and 2 point mid-season losses were, along with missing Galloway and Lawrence for extended periods.

Depth hopefully won't be such an issue next season though and with the Tigers defence improving significantly this season, surely the finals beckon next year.

I see we are ranked 11/16 for our home record. Probably would be a lot better if we actually played at CS/LO instead of SFS for 6 rounds.

Great read though, whoever wrote it was spot on.

yeah I thought it was pretty accurate too, especially the part about if we don't make it to the finals next year, that this year would really be a failure

Agree 100% with the wrap….In fact I believe most people on this forum could have delivered the same article, so its good to see that everyone is on the same page.

Like everyone else said, "spot on". Shame they had a typo at virtually the bottom of the page, talking about "passing judgement on 2008".

Reading some of the other teams' report cards has raised a few inaccuracies.

In the Souths one it says they were the leading tryscorers ahead of us, not equal with us.

And in the Bulldogs one it says they only lost 1 game by more than 10 points, to Parra, despite also saying that we beat them 34-10 earlier in the article.

It seems that all the articles are written with a bit of bias, putting a positive spin on things. I don't really notice it for the Wests Tigers but that is probably because I am a bit biased too…
