RESERVE GRADE PLAYERS?

Just wondering…

Guys who are on second tier contracts or reserve grade players, do you think they're on good $$$ ?
Like a player who has been on the scene for a few years, training but only played a handful of first grade games but get down for the reserve grade teams.

I know some would have to have a second job and such,
and some local teams pay match payments of up to 1k a game....

But is a reserve grader well paid?

Like the NRL Demps ,there are different ends of the spectrum

The fringe NRL players would get the NRL minimum , and then they would drop from there

They would be on match payments also, but they wouldn't be significant , maybe a $150 win bonus max

Banks would loan that to anyone as a secured loan…

The Cap is $350,000 on players outside the top 25 so that doesn't really leave much to be shared around possibly $30,000 - $40,000 is an average wage.

NYC players range from $2,000 to $20,000 with a salary Cap of $250,000 for the top 20 players

Plenty of NSW STate Cup players on 5k for the year no incentive for wins. Only get a few more $$$ if they crack sometime in NRL. They have great commitment to rugby league many of them from the country purely in Sydney to give it a crack at making the NRL. The difference for a few of them at becomming NRL players or not is being given that chance. Hopefully the new NRL coach will give a few a go at some stage. ALthough Im sure the fact the club is struggling with $$$ will not help. As if they are blooded in NRL they may make an another $10k on top of there $5k.
