Look I didn't expect a phone call from humphreys/Farah or someone high up begging me to stay a member but I thought an email shot back saying that they will remove my details sums up the amateurish way I believe the club is run. It wasn't an automated response, it was probably some 18 year old on $12 an hour who is representing a multi million dollar franchise. If it was an auto mated response then that's 100 times worse as someone had decided that this was the response a frustrated client will receive.
Try and email your gym telling them you don't want to be a member anymore and see what response you get.
Writing something back like 'we understand your frustration and no one at the club is happy with yesterdays effort or how we have performed on the field in 2012\. However the club is working hard to make amends and we are confident of a good home showing in Garth Ellis's last game on Saturday. The club and players value your support and would love to have you on board again in what we believe will be a very successful 2013.'

Instead they just basically told me to go and get stuffed and that as a member they don't care about me. As a long term customer I deserve better
Truth be known I was still seething after the 'effort' put in. I have absolutely NO doubt that come November/decemeber I'm over it, have a lot of false hope for 2013 and renew my membership. However after the response I got back today there is absolutely ZERO chances of that happening.

Yep, its how they work…a few times I wasnt going to bother renewing, by Nov you think 'oh to heck with it -join again'
