It’s too bad Greg Eastwood says hello.

Who cares about Eastwood

I don’t but we are in the same position with Packer big money happy to play for Wests Magpies.

He has a degree. I am sure he is quite happy to take his contract money and then toddle off into the sunset to a cushy office job.

Packer isn't going anywhere. He is happy to play reserves for his money.
No pride. Just a bludger.

Why is it his fault?

As if you would give up $400k+ a year and put pride aside if your employer said don’t worry about coming in, stay home put your feet up.

It's called integrity!

Sure... so you would give up $400k+ a year if you signed a contract and your employer said they didn’t need you?

If I wanted to continue my playing career elsewhere, if he is stuck in Reggies next year no one will touch him with a forty foot barge pole.
Does he want to be remembered as a Second grade player or an ex international?

I think he will be remembered for his off field incident more than anything he ever did on the field.

@TYGA Similar position to Broncos and Boyd, but since they are a favoured team, you watch as they work it to their favour, and get Boyd out from their cap. I bet he still gets his money too though that probably won't hit the public news.

Not so easy to get a cushy office job when you’ve spent a year in prison for stomping on a blokes head.

Favoured team or smart club?

@gallagher Both really. There's no way they aren't favoured, tv deals, Fox affiliates, but yes they are run very business-like, very sucessfully.

Boyd would be a shoe-in for a media job surely...

Much the same way that Julian O'Neill was a shoe-in.
