Morris the Magpie has been at some of the Wests Magpies home games @ Leumeah this year.

It would be awesome if he made an appearance at all Campbellttown games.

Remember we are a JOINT VENTURE. That is two clubs combining to become one team in the NRL. But it is Balmain and Western Suburbs that do all the hard work that gets very little notice. That is bringing up the next generation of Wests Tigers.

The Wests Tigers wear their heart on their sleeve, so why shouldn't we let the Magpie walk the sidelines, defend its territory. Especially at Campbelltown Stadium!

Sounds good to me. I can't believe some people would have a whinge about it.

So why doesnt it say balmain on the other sleeve?Good to see you still havent changed your point of view since that night in the golf club at carrara after the titians game back in 07.Bet you still wear your magpie shirt to west tigers games  Hows your mate Yappy?Does he still secretly tape wests tigers games and watch them when no one is around

I have fond memories of heading out to Lidcome to watch West with my Mum as a young fella. One of the memories I have is the Magpie mascot walking the sidelines hi-fiving us kids. But now we are a joint venture & we dont see the magpie mascot anymore. I still love & continue to suppport the club from interstate "Melbourne" through memberships for both myself & 2 yr old son. We also make the journey north atleast once a year to see a game live. For me to be able to show my son the old Maggie mascot & educate him on the clubs history / foundations would really mean something to me. I understand we are now called the "Tigers" and that is now my team, but maybe we can dust off the Magpie suit for the Campbelltown games, to educate those 10 year old and under fans. We could also do it heritage round..

Wests juniors are still called the Magpies so it hasn't lost relevance alltogether. Anyway, the kids love him which is why you have mascots …... i think !
