Got a young man in the family who’s about to hit the dating scene? They should watch it so they can be educated about some of the less than scrupulous types in the world who use their looks and sex to hook young men.
That door swings very much both ways male/female no matter what the sex of a person pond scum is always going to be pond scum...
In a male dominated environment , we often overlook character flaws in men. This whole issue is sad and I blame Cleary because we didn't need a 5/8 of Josh's calibre. He should be playing NRL at the Dogs.
The "character flaws" as you call them @pawsandclaws1 are he was most likely 'to flippin trusting' of someone he had positive feelings for and had 'too much
Love' to give to someone he had positive feelings for.
So I reckon when "character flaws" are being handed out at birth or in your childhood.... they are pretty good "character flaws" to have.
Arabella on the other hand has picked up somewhere along the way the worst sort of "character flaws".... and may well have had an unhappy childhood.... as she said.
But she now lives in fantasyland to cover up those memories and is still a very unhappy person, so anyone she becomes involved with will meet the same fate as Josh did.
I would strongly suggest anyone that has been manipulated in a big way (as Josh was) by their partner.... male or female.... to read a book titled "Women Who Love To Much" by Robin Norwood.... who by the way is a very respected Psychologist.
An excellent post mate, I do have some sympathy for Josh having had the misfortune of being played by someone in a similar situation.

But from what you have written in other posts, it sounds like you are in a healthy and happy relationship now, and long may that continue.... as our Tigers need plenty of young ones like your daughter to become enthusiastic supporters in the near future.
