Richards keen to stay a Tiger..

For all the 'invaluable assets' Richards brought us, we still finished 13th with a for and against of -210

Well, you could same the same about Woods, Farah, Brooks etc.

It's pretty simple, if he is the best available option and the price is right you re sign him. If not you go for the other option. JT is smart enough to know nothing needs to be done till mid season

Not really. People on here say we should keep Richards because he gives us something no other player in the Comp can bring us. I'm just pointing out that despite these amazing things he brings we still had a terrible season, maybe they aren't as important as everyone makes out?

I think that's a bit simplistic, but as a team contributor the comparison between Farah, Woods and Richards is completely relevant. Farah and Woods are SOO reps, last year Richards was being considered as a rep due largely to his notable contributions to Wests Tigers with his boot. Yes his contribution is significant, or at least it was recognised as being such last year.

Pat played despite groin and hammy issues throughout 2014

I've never had a dodgy groin , but they effect your lateral movement pretty badly from what I've heard

He was going ok until the groin issues started

And with our defensive structure in 2014 , Richards was going to struggle with and up and in because of his size

I'm looking forward to see what defence we are going to use in 2015 , will set the tone for our season

Hard for a goalkicker to be successful when you're not scoring tries…

I suppose the question to be asked is will we score more tries in 2015 than 2014 CB
