I met him once when he played for the Raiders. A guy I knew was friends with him. Anyway I was out drinking one night and this guy that I know says that he's got someone he wants me to meet, he takes me over to this table where Ricky's sitting and introduces me, Stuart just looks at me and turns away, not that I cared too much, but the guy that introduced me was really embarrassed.

I worked with Darren Fritz back then and he never had anything good to say about Stuart, neither did Steve Walters, who once copped a punch in the face from Stuart during a disagreement at training.

I worked with a former NRL touch judge and he had a lot of Ricky Stuart stories and none of them were good. Once told a young fan where to go with very colourful langiuage when Cronulla coach when he was asking for an autograph. Foul lanauge to a minor is not good.

I hate the fact he was credited for East victory when the late Graham Murray should have taken the credit.
