Sir Garfield Sobers GOAT allrounder in my lifetime. He could bat as good as anyone if not better, he could open the bowling and bowl fast, he could swing the ball both ways, he could bowl spin, unbelievable fielder in any position, great leader and a fantastic man.
He was often criticised for being to casual and laidback but always proved his doubters wrong. I was lucky enough to see him play on a few occasions.

I’ve only seen replays, his ability to do absolutely everything on a cricket field at such a pro level during a time when it was still a fairly part time sport is amazing. He’d have been wasted, but I bet he could keep too.
