Always liked Jack, he called a spade a spade.
Enjoyable commentary from him as well in the Greg Norman heydey.
Another part of a lot of young Aussies' sporting youth is gone.
Jack would be the first to say he got a bonus 40 or so years of life after the fateful plane accident.
RIP Jack. Aussie icon.

Many years ago had a beer with him at the SCG. I was in the members bar at the SCG and he started chatting to me and got me a few beers. Really nice guy, the old Aussie larakin. He absolutely loved his sport. Showed enormous amount of ticker to fight back from the horrendous injuries he suffered when he walked into the aircraft prop.
