Completely shocked by this,condolences to his family and friends.The worlds greatest spin bowler imo dead at a far too young age.

A genius and a pioneer.

I'm sure most people think of him as a test spinning legend but what he did with Rajasthan Royals in 2008 in the IPL was very impressive too. A team of nobodys. tipped to come last and this man Moneyball'd his way to the title.

I thought Dean Jones passing like he did was shocking. This one is far more so.

Great accuracy, tremendous amount of leg spin and great flipper. The only chink in his armor was the lack of a great wrong un but then again he didn't need it I feel sorry for his relatively young children.

Read the news as it broke early morning as I was on night shift and it rattled me.

He was very important to not only the sport BUT our country as well.

Not many people truly qualify as a true legend but Warnie was definitely one.

He will be deeply missed.

Spot on mate. I'm a huge cricket tragic, as a player and a watcher, and I feel like I've lost one of my own family. I also bowled leg spin but, sadly, that's where the similarity ended.
