RLW mentioned the forum as the source of rumours!

Did anyone see this in the RLW, apparently they were worried that there may be a leak within the club to the forum, mentioned that news was here before the media….. we always wondered if they got their stories from the forum, turns out they may be!
even the ones we just made up, IE cooper cronk

This is not wikileaks or news ltd hacking…..best thing the club can do is just look forward.

it may not be wikileaks but a lot of people claim to be the julian assange of the tigers only to have their wonderful rumours and elaborate stories deflated once the real story gets out.

but seriously, who gives a toss about what goes on behind closed doors in clubs. for years before the internet not many people were privy to such info now when that person gets a whif he/she doesnt wait a minute to blurt it out to the world on forums like this without mentioning names, sources etc.

My next door neighbour told me his next door neighbour made it up :laughing:

i still reckon this cronk rumour started with this piss take fake slater/cronk package, all it takes is some bloke to put it on a forum, facebook or twitter and peopl want to believe it, and all of a sudden it becomes a "source close to the club"

i email RLW and the DT with info/rumours. Who cares anyway it all comes out in the end anyway. the blair and lote sagas are just the worst kept secrets in leauge signing news history, Lote's deal was done before xmas in 09 and blairs was a couple months ago.

Surely journalists do more than repeat what they read on the forum. Do they check the facts?
Surely they are shooting themselves in the respectablilty parts making such statements.
