RLW rumour

Moltzen may be a chance of heading over there. He has a LOT of work to do if he's going to get back into FG. Thompson is off contract and he would probably go well over there.

Could be at least 300k free in the salary cap…

Hope we can find a way to keep Thompson He deserves a new contract on his 2014 form

Could well be Moltzen. In his position he's probably best advised to take the best offer he can get now. It won't be Lulia as he's just come back from there this season. He won't be in a hurry. Jack Buchanan comes to mind, so does. Thompson could a possibility too.

Doubt it's Lulia…
He wouldn't move back just to have a few games then move back...
Surely not.

Moltzen & Fulton sound like a big possibility.

Fulton has moved over for salary cap trouble before. Not taking away anything from him but I don't see where he fits in a full strength side - at least between him and Siro.

I know Fulton is nearing the end of his career , but if the Tigers ask him to move again because of salary cap issues they deserve a big kick in the gonads

Lets just hope we are in the drivers seat in all this, shedding players we choose to for cap space, and not having those we would prefer to retain picked from under our noses.

We have a bunch of players on overs or at the very least not performing to justify their pay grade, an out on even one of those contracts could change our cap financials enough to put us in a place we need to be…

Its going to be interesting to see how this all plays out... I can definitely see not everyone being satisfied how ever it goes though, which should be fun to watch.

I totally agree Happy, bloke has been a soldier for us, Im a massive fan of him too, but if the rumour is true there is only a few ways it can go down…

In a perfect world they alleviate us of players we dont want/need eating up cap and arent getting a run, but that is most likely too much to ask...

More likely they take say a Moltzen who doesnt really own a spot as well as say a Fulton or Lawrence, so a fringe player and a beloved son tried and proven but not a game breaker to open up a decent chunk of cap coin...

The last option is we lose say Gavet and Thompson just priced out of the equation on an uncontracted player we would prefer to retain with bright futures...

The smart money is that it is going to hurt somewhere along the line... will be interesting for sure.

Surely we cant unload another two from top tier? Does the june deadline apply? Would they leave at season end?

This is an ideal time for a couple of the older players that still have something to offer to extend there careers by a few years. The ESL offers these guys good incomes far longer than the NRL offers,it is about timing get there while the legs and body are still producing. Galloway , Fulton (injury playing a part here),Moltzen will struggle to contract up with the NRL again, this is a good and sensible option for these players.

We get it 851 - you don't like Anasta.

Koro needs some more game time says Coca Cola - you are right.

Preferably with another club
