Robbie Farah interview regarding todays drama on Rush Hour

Farah very, very passive re Potter. No endorsement, no praise beyond basic courtesy. Just says it is dissapointing things reached the media.

Says he has known his 'great mates Royce and Georgie' were punted for weeks.

Biggest shock of that interview was that 'roycey has already got another job lined up' 😱pen_mouth: 😱pen_mouth: 😱pen_mouth: 😱pen_mouth:

Unless someone is desperate for a bloke to put down witches hats, I can't see any NRL club employing Royce.
 
Farah bas been very lukewarm about Potter most of the year. People blaming Marshall for Potter's predicament have no idea. Wake up and smell the bloody roses.

After his stunning work lately ( his ESL team recorded their worst ever start to a season before he was fired and thenthe tigers collapsed to finish a likely second last) surely the great man is going to be an Origin assistant or something? No one with this level of ability ever lands on their feet like Royce!
 
Consider Farahs predicament… he is the captain, not only is he the lifeline to the refs in the games on behalf of the team, but also to the coach. Seeing as the way the squad has been carved up this year, he would be copping an ear bashing from the boys, and the company line from the coach... it doesnt mean he has to lean one way or another, but he does need to be political ie. be friends with the boys and help keep it all together, be their mouth-piece and their shoulder, leader amongst his peers.

He probably has a bit of a balancing act going on at present. Its fair to say a few of the departing are white-anting and he is stuck in the cross-fire. His disappointment on the field has been out there for all to see this season, he has been livid on several occasions, yet he didnt torch the boys either in the interview... was just an even keeled company line from where I sit, both ways.
 
He sounded a lot like Thurston a few weeks ago when he was asked about Neil Henry. Basically the same 'yeah, hope we can win to ease the pressure' type answers.

If Thurston or Robbie walked into management's offices and said 'coach stays, he is doing a great job' then neither would have been in trouble. Both answeing so passively in public is just toeing the company line. If Robbie said 'he is doing a great job, we needed change and I can't wait for 2014 to work with Mick and guide the young blokes coming through. Exciting times ahead!' Then none of this would be happening. Basically, Robbie wants him gone.
 
I see it like that to. Very sad, I have to say potter is a dead man walking. Disgraceful treatment from the WT. When are the players ever accountable?????

I've lost a of respect for Farah as a captain over the last few years. He doesn't have a team leader attitude for mine and is becoming a bigger sook by the season.
 
Farah the choker this guy never has been or will be a leader it's all about ME always has and will be ,should never of been given the captaincy but wait that was the deal to sign a contract not if your up to it ..
 
Farah is just a big sook and only ever thinks about himself as you can tell by the way he plays. For to long farah and that wanker Marshall have had to much say and I would of preferred farah didn't resign as he has only a couple good years left at best and we should start from scratch.

I'm over Farrah he can follow his mate out the door,I don't care how good of a player you are if you are going to create a toxic environment that will benefit no one, he didn't like Sheens fair enough he was there too long, but to have a tanty about Potter who has been here a matter of months, does that say that he is someone to work through issues no.
This matter is going to benefit no one and what happens when the next coach challenges the boys club do they sit in the corner and sulk again

You will defend Robbie until the cows come home. His attitude towards Potter in press conference all year combined with his refusal to speak out in support of him says volumes for Farah's views on Potter.

Its clear Farah and Potter dont have a good relationship. Who is to blame for that? I dont know the answer to that question.
