I think he's been excellent since Daniella was pushing for his spot. Really stepped up to the challenge.

Blake Ayshford is the most underrated player in the WT team..he played superbly in 2011…I know many teams would love a centre combo of Lawrence and Ayshford...glad they are on **_our_** side!

i didnt rate him in 2010.. i thought he was slow and a hog… but he seems to have really kicked on since he was told he was on the chopping board late 2010..

you know how hard it is to loose kgs these days.. im going to have to do overtime at the gym to work all the Humble Pie off..

2012 is to far away.... lets HTFU... bring it on!!!!

He was slow and he was a hog….many many ppl saw him like that.
You only need pie if you claim he would never change, or never make it...which would be a rash statement to make on a developing player.
Good to see the development hes come thru with tho....I hope his improvement continues, some of his runs were terrific

It was definitely his best season thus far for Ayshford. He is strong and rangy which makes him difficult to bring down, coupled with his massive hands that allow him to carry the footy like a golf ball and offload at will in a tackle. He breaks the first tackle more times then not, if we have Blair on the right hand side in attack watch this kids career go to another level. Very excited supporter right here!

Agree. Blair, Aysford on the right, lawrence and Ellis on the left…..very strong. edges, the best in the comp IMO.

I remember at Canberra Stadium early 2010 he had a shocker that for a lot of people was the final straw. Sheens kicked his backside and told him his spot was in jeopardy and the next thing you knew it he just started becoming a first grader.

His backend of 2010 was superb and he carried that form into 2011 where he maintaned it for pretty much the whole season. If he continues to grow and learn, forget about a silly city jumper, the sky blue and green and gold are within his grasp as early as 2013.
