Robbie Farah to captain nsw ??

People aren't probably going to like what I say , but I think if it was me ,make Robbie VC

I think he will play far better for NSW without the burden of the captaincy

Who will captain you ask , good question ?? Someone mentioned Bird ,bad call in my opinion can get the refs offside pretty easily

Depends on the side , but if Luke Lewis was picked he'd be a big chance

Knowing NSW selectors they will choose Gidley from the bench. I think Robbie should get the gig - he seems to respond well to responsibility

You don't want your captain losing the plot at a crucial stage

That rules out Bird ,Hayne and Robbie in my opinion

The guy who will stay calm and has lots of experience is Lewis

The other thing is NSW need their players playing their best football to beat Qld . If you stick Bird ,Hayne or Farah as captain it will probably affect their performance in even a minute way I reckon NSW can't win if these three aren't at 100%

Luke Lewis will grow another leg if you made him captain .

Ruled Gidley out as I believe he shouldn't be in the side

I think its generally excepted that while lewis is a great player, he is not leadership potential. When i say generally accepted, i mean thats what gould and cleary think, and most people, including myself, trust their judgement.
I agree with you in that Robbie would play better without the burden of being captain. Whereas someone like Bird would step up another gear. I also have a theory that cameron smith intimidates a lot of opposition captains (including robbie). This would not be the case for bird. gidley wont be the captain

Well it your side , so I'll leave it at that , but if I was picking between Farah and Bird its Farah

First time in years (Despite the losses) I'm not looking forward to SOO.

In the current injury climate, We can ill afford to have Farah and possibly Woods miss a few games.

For the record - Robbie would be a great stand in NSW Captain.

Honestly if there was a year that Robbie should focus on Origin and starting his legacy as NSW hooker, it's this year. The Tigers are in shambles and I hold little hope of making the finals so he may as well put his energy into performing well and stopping QLDs reign.

I hope he is captain. If not, I'd be happy with Bird

Latest news is that Gallen has reported that he wants to play against West Tigers on Friday despite his injury today.
