Robbie Farah

I doubt any Tigers have been called into the camp. Hell they may not make it back for Wednesday at this rate.

On the topic of his play I am really happy with his understated role. He isn't trying to hard and is showing faith in those around him alot more than in previous years.

Its the seemingly basic things he does that are difficult yet he makes seem effortless. Example being the McKinnon try. Backing up from a break and he throws a pinpoint 20m+ ball straight to Marshalls chest with no wind up or step. Its that kind of play that allows our speed to increase and gives the halves time.

_The Wests Tigers have managed to scramble a flight home from Auckland for captain Robbie Farah, who has been called into the NSW State of Origin squad as injury cover.\
\
The Tigers will be stuck in New Zealand until at least Tuesday because of the ash cloud from a volcano in Chile, but Farah will fly home on Monday night after he was told he'd be joining the Blues as 19th man before Sunday's 26-22 win over the Warriors.\
\
The Tigers' Qantas flight scheduled for Monday was cancelled and Farah will head home with Emirates.\
\
"He'll hopefully join the Blues camp tomorrow," Tigers chief executive Stephen Humphreys told AAP from Auckland.\
\
"There aren't too many seats but we were able to get one for him.\
\
"He definitely wanted to be there just in case he's required."\
\
Farah will join 18th man Tom Learoyd-Lahrs in the NSW camp for Wednesday night's Origin II at ANZ Stadium.\
\
Origin I forwards Jason King and Dean Young had been named as 18th and 19th men but did not pull up well enough out of the weekend's NRL matches.\
\
King has an ankle injury while Young's chronic knee problem means he regularly needs the full week's turnaround._

i heard from someone in the tigers camp that a month before the first team was picked farah was told by stuart that he had the front running. not sure how true this but him being brought into camp might be some of payback for it.

He is only being brought in because Young who was 19th man is injured. I'd say from the way things have panned out that there is no truth to what that insider told you. Might make Ennis nervous though :sunglasses:

Stuart apparently did the same to Luke Lewis and apparently spoke to David Furner about Tom Learoyd-Lars being in prior to game 1\. He also advised Paul Gallen would be playing Prop, and Lars he will be playing a wide running backrower…

Maybe Stuart didnt get his team in game 1, but things might be taking shape for game 2 or 3???

Its actually the 'play the ball' rule which has changed, as the ball-player can no longer proceed forward once the mark is set. This now allows the marker to be set and moving forward at the play the ball, rather than retreating…

Is his groin troubling him again or is something bothering him because he was quiet yesterday…....

When he is on, so are the Tigers and i think that we have been missing that.....

if thats the case and nsw lose on wednesday then surely farah must get his go in game 3, i mean how long will stuart persist with inept hookers that are offering nothing in attack? and young next in line? hows that, he's not even an 80min player. its nice to have a father in high places.
