Robbie in danger in missing out on World Cup spot

In the telegraph today they had a story about World Cup spots for Australia up for grabs. They had a few lines about Robbie could be in danger in losing his spot to Jake Friend if he has a big game today.

It would be devasting for Robbie if he did lose his spot. He has worked hard since the last World Cup . He has never let the kangaroos down when he has played.

I hope friend has a shocker.

I find it very unfair when grand final players have the bias on players who have played extremely well in teams who were not up to GF standard. Also don't forget that Friend has not played a full game of first grade all season.

Its not just the gf bias jake friend has been killing it last 2 seasons . physically he is unmatched by other hookers he is not as dangerous as others in attack but playing in England conditions he will excel .Same as Aidan Guerra I thought it was just the tigers that made him look like a champion but he a top class 2nd rower reminds me of a bigger stronger liam fulton . .
This is the Australian team sadly players who have the talent to be in team cant all make it .

This has been talked about in the media for the last couple of weeks. They've even gone as far as saying Friends will be the best hooker in the country in a few years.
If Farah is picked I'd be very surprised.

Being a WC, they will take 2 specialist Hookers… But if they are thinking along the lines of using Cronk & DCE, look for Matt Ballin or Ryan Hinchcliffe to get a seat on the plane ahead of Friend.
