Could Robbie get into trouble for saying ref didn't have the kahunnas to blow a penalty in extra time?

Depends on the context it was said I guess, I dont know what he said.
The penalty we shouldve got but didnt wasnt in extra time. It was right on full time.

Harrigan tonite said "No way" should it have been a penalty.
Predictable

I have heard there is a strong anti Harrigan getting the Referee Boss position. Hope that is true. I have watched rugby league for 30 plus years and this year the refereeing standards are the worst ever. We are lucky that they have been mostly good for us for most of the year.

However that on full time was a penalty every day of the week. it was a smart play by a smart player and should have been rewarded. Robbie was right to say what he did about the referee.

I think robbie was very restrained, and could've said a whole load worse. It was a penalty, everybody knew it was a penalty, referee didn't have the wontons, and they don't these days. Maybe instead of wearing pink shirts they should wear yellow because they've got no guts to make decisions and stand by them.

harrigan is a dead set tool if he thinks that was not a penalty. i just cant work out how he can say that with a straight face. it is a penalty in any situation. PATHETIC

Even if the penalty had gone our way, who would have been confident that Benji would have landed it? It looked a pretty difficult distance by his standards.

Lets just move on. The boys really need to pick themselves up for Penrith, and thats going to be difficult considering the healthy record they have against us.

Truth is a reasonable defence. In any case, referees attitudes and their application of the laws are heavily modified in GPET. Just as you can set your watch by 2-4 penalties in the first few sets of each half, you can do likewise by the lack of penalties at the business end. It is a constant feature of Rugby League
