Robbie - " the last thing on my mind was playing football"

He lost his mum about a year ago didn't he? Could be struggling with that as well as Benji moving on and the loss on Wednesday night.

Have to give him credit for his honesty, he's busted his hump for us for so long, I'll give him benefit of the doubt on this one.

I'm sure it would be weighing on his mind given its been around a yr now. The first anniversary for things like that is really tough.
 
Furthest thing on your mind is a pretty big thing. Like as someone said in reply to the Triple M tweet, he's payed money to care and the fans have payed money to come and see him play. Bit of a kick in the guts to hear he isn't even slightly interested in playing footy. Can understand if he didn't physically feel up to it but what message is that sending to other players from the captain of the club to say something like that?

I used to have massive respect for Robbie until he yawned in my face at members day and said this. What's with not being at the press conference?

These are the two tweets from triple m. Still hard to gauge the full context without knowing what questions were asked.

I think people read too deep into minor issues ,Of course Robbie would be feeling down he has just had a pretty tough week and has given his al,l ,then he walks back to find his mate of 12 years has not had his contract honored and he will be leaving , then the boys went down in a game where they could have easily won .gee guys Robbie has always been an intense guy .If you want to give it to somebody give it to the management who have let us fans and our players down .What do you expect Robbie to say after the week they have all had , RUGBY LEAGUE IS THE WINNER ,IM SO HAPPY TO BE STANDING HERE TALKING TO YOU .

The end of the season can't come quick enough for some. A lot of people on here need to take a break from footy and this forum. Read too much into everything.

When the OP says this

This really is a garbage form of social media…..and I thought forums were easy to misinterpret peoples words

I just wish people would think before posting...read it a couple of times first :bash

Twitter and the twit brigade has really brought a new level of hysteria to this forum.
 
Don't blame social media for people overreacting, after all this forum is social media.

The irrational phobia against anything that hasn't come from a mate of a mate or off the radio is unbelievable.
 
Robbie doesn't feel like playing and Benji and Blake don't want to be there. Great example for the young guys.
 
For those who don't use twitter Robbie did not make that comment on twitter!!!!! He did, however move into a new house- that he tweeted
