Robbie vertually assured of NSW Hooking Role

If he is picked, Robbie will need to make 70 tackles, kick the match winning field goal, set up all four tries and score one himself to avoid being made a scapegoat when NSW loses again.

So really, just what he's done for us more weeks than not for the last few years.
Go Robbie

Firstly, I don't feel comfortable with people slagging Blocker. Blocker IS Balmain…he loves the Tigers. He took way, way less all through his career to play for us. He's earnt the right to say what we he wants.

Secondly, his comment that "drifting across field" is not origin is actually true. Robbie has a habit of drifting sideways and not getting any forwards to run on with any momentum. In origin, that would be suicide.

Robbie needed to take the line on and be more aggresive is basically what Block was saying...........and, hey, he did that against the GC and had his best game in years.

I'll believe it when I see his name read out this weekend. There will be massive pressure on him if he is picked, I hope he handles it. Would be great to see him perform well and really make it impossible for them to drop him again.

Yes, and he would only get a 7/10 for his performance!!! :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

Hope if he is picked, he has at least 1 tiger mate with him

He was captain of the city side wasn't he? could be a chance I guess, but considering the hooking spot isn't set in stone, you'd think they'd pick someone who was more guaranteed a spot

Blocker Barnaby Roach has performed one of the most spactacular backflips of all time. You cant say a blokes style of play dosent suit state of origin then not have a problem with his selection two days later. Roach has made a complete knob of himself in full view of the public and all his peers. Your a goose Blocker give it away. IMO of course Robbie should be picked he is the most in form elligable hooker we have and I cant see the value of Stewarts waffle and all the fuss it created. Sheens made some perfectly valid points without dumping too hard on anyone I thought. Stewarts reaction was unbelievable cant see what posative outcome from that he thought he would get. Up shot is Roach and Stewart are looking like irrelavant dummy spitting children and our nsw origin campain is in tatters.

I'd think Lewis would be next in line for the captaincy - just a thought.

I really hope Robbie gets another chance but if they dropped him a couple of years back and have played the mennis ever since, I highly doubt they'll go back to Robbie.
Hooker is about the only spot that they seemed to stay true to with their stick with policy.
Robbie has really lifted lately and deserves another crack. If he doesn't get the chance then it's only good for the Wests Tigers.
I think he is hitting some of the form that has deserted him over the last couple of seasons.
Good luck Robbie!

He'll probably end up 18th man, a ploy by Stuart to blackball Sheens by taking his star player and then not playing him.

Doesn't 18th man still play during the week though? Lawrence was 18th man a couple of years ago, and i'm sure we didn't lose him during that period

So, last week fat Zorba publicly agreed with fat Blocker saying Farah wasn't up to Origin standard, now he has him in his NSW team!!! What's up with these people? Short term memory loss or just plain dementia?
