Robbie's gonna have to be near perfect...

Robbie has to move mountains to remove Ennis, Unfortunately he hasn't shown how good we know him to be on this front.

Rip in Robbie.

I wouldn't be writing Farah off just yet. There's still a lot of football to be played between now and SOO. Robbie is battling tendonitis in his groin as he mentioned after the Warriors game yet he still played well and picked up 1 Dally M point. Lawrence would be the leading Tiger so far to stake his claim for Origin this year.

What about Lote ??

Chris Lawrence plays left centre, he dose not play right centre, so he is behind Jennings, Morris & Lyons. Barring injury he won't have a chance. Remember how many centres were injured for him to get his 1 game for Australia.

Lyon is out injured at the moment and Lawrence is playing just as well if not better than Morris and Jennings at the moment.

Ennis showed that "Origin attitude" when he hid behind his forwards like a coward last year, and then gave away a stupid penalty that cost us the third game.

Well said HT.

I reckon Uate has to get a start on the wing, the guy is an absolute freak. For mine, best winger in the comp.

…oh yeah and go Robbie!!

Is he definitely been cleared to play SOO ??? I thought some issues had been raised about it Could be wrong

lol….Gasnier and Cooper will be the NSW centres....or Jamie Lyon if he wants to play this year... :unamused:

Robbie might get a shot game 3 after Ennis and Dean Young fail miserably...

Gasnier's a shoe in, not so sure about Cooper this year though. The other centre will probably be Beau Scott LOL or Jennings if he's lucky.

Hey, I saw an article on Yahoo Sport tonight about the Bulldogs and it began with the words **"Canterbury hardman hooker, Michael Ennis"** - :roll Thought it was the funniest start to a sentence I've ever read! An oxymoron of epic proportions

If thats actually what happens, wow… another loss to NSW.
Gasnier is a wash up & Cooper is average and doesn't offer much impact. (In my opinion, don't wanna upset anyone)

There is some decent lines up being named in this thread, I believe (won't happen of course) there is a few players NSW need to avoid completely, such as Jamie Lyon, Greg Bird, Michael Weyman, Paul Gallen & Kurt Gidley. They've had their opportunity and fell short every time. Built for origin or not, seems like they are built for losing.

This is what I'd like to see no matter how far off point it may be.
1) DUGAN - One of the best fullbacks in the comp at the moment, so creative.
2) UATE - He's brilliant, top 5 wingers in the game
3) IDRIS - Marks up against Inglis rly well, as we saw last week made him look infantile
4) LAWRENCE - Rly strong in both attack & defense
5) HAYNE - Has played wing before and is too good not to have part of the team.
6) CARNEY - Don't like him but he's an excellent 5/8
7) MULLEN - Solid player, I think he's better than Pearce and his kicking has been so on point lately.
8) SNOWDEN - Gun prop, would be contribute a lot to the team.
9) FARAH - The best option, plays a different game to Cameron Smith but both amazing hookers.
10) LEAROYD-LAHRS - Another amazing prop, real strong and imposing.
11) WATMOUGH - What a unit, makes the big runs and gets results.
12) HEININGTON - About time he gets a crack, does all the dirty work and goes hard.
13) LEWIS - Could slot in @ lock and change with Heino and Watmough when needed. These 3 are a hard working back row.

14) MANNAH - Solid defender and a hard runner, too good to miss out.
15) AYSHFORD - Perfect utility player.. Gidley wht pfft...
16) MINICHELLO - Solid player, would do well I believe
17) GALLOWAY - Another beast who does all the dirty work and gets the job done.

I would love for Farrah, Ayshford & Lawrence to be in the side..

It will do us alot of good & a confidence booster for both the individuals & the team having a few 'current rep players' in the team heading into the finals.

You all keep missing the point as to why Robbie doesn't get picked.
Robbies style of football or should i say the Wests Tigers style of football is created around Robbie Farah.

If Robbie gets the no 9 blue jumper you'll have to get the team to play Tigers style of footy and i don't think that wins many SOO matches, or get Robbie to adapt to the style of footy the Blues want to play which doesn't suit Robbie and probably takes away a lot of his creativeness which is the thing that makes him a great player.
So basically you have to get a hooker that is kinda like Farah but without the creative flair so he can FIT IN with the style of game the Blues coach wants to play.

You cant just grab the best individuals and stick them together and expect results, players have to be comfortable with each others style of play especially halves, they have to complement each other.

Not a bad side but as much as i don't like them you have to have Bird and Gallen in there, oh and your bench is really ordinary.
