He played ok against a poor team.
He looks chubby and slow.
Heard NQ aren't interested in renewing his contract?

I hope for his sake he stays in Townsville with family. He's had a troubled past but he clearly loves playing footy.

Dumping him or calling him garbage etc isn't gonna help him or anybody else.

Re-signed for next year with NQ

I reckon he played one of his best ever games tonight for the Cowboys or the Tigers

Reckon if the Cowboys stay in 4th position the Roosters v Cowboys game will be an absolute cracker next weekend

He's in career best form just about. No reason to acknowledge what he's done off the field when people never acknowledge stuff guys like Inglis and Bird have done to women. If they can be praised without having the same rubbish brought up, Lui has the same right. Sick of people using Lui as an excuse to exercise their morals while giving guys of higher profile a free pass.

Lui was found guilty of kicking his pregnant girlfriend wasn't he? People are within their rights to exercise their morals and take a pretty dim and disgusted view of someone who does that. Grow a brain.

But its okay to overlook a guy who glassed his missus and tried to get his best mate to take the blame? Right

I agree that everyone should be treated equally, and they aren't. The tigers did the right thing in letting him go. But just remember that Benji's best years were the two with Robert Lui at half.

SQ would be mad not to re-sign him.

I know I've never excused Bird or Inglis. I think Bird is a pig of a player too who gives away way too many penalties and milks with the best of them. Domestic violence ranks with rape and paedophilia in my book and I would never have a wife beater at this club.
