Rookie of the year

Hurrell won't get it, but i think he's by far and away the biggest star in the making out of the crop. He's Tuiaki x2

He reminds me of Francis Meli. Nuggety and strong with plenty of pace for a bloke his size. Very hard to bring down 1 on 1.

Josh Reynolds from the Dogs will give it a nudge. He is the sort of player we need-gutsy and ultra-competitive, doesn't mince about looking for the fancy play

Josh isn't a rookie

Konrad Hurrell can't win it, just like it was not possible for him to win Toyota Cup Player of the Year for 2011\. Even though he was king of the stats and clearly the best player over the year, De Belin still got it.

Adam Reynolds deserves it 100% if he gets it though.

It makes me sad reading this list. Tedesco would have been right in the race with the Reynolds'. I am so excited to see him next year.

Does anyone for sure know what the criteria is for rookie ?
How many games of NRL can you play the previous year to still be eligible?

I've heard it's 3 or less games in the previous year

These are the official rules:
A player’s Rookie season will be judged to be one in which he has participated in more than three NRL Premiership matches (or English Super League matches) as either a starting player or one of the four official replacement players.
Regardless of the number of games played, a player may only be eligible for the Rookie of the Year Award either in the season of his first NRL match, or the season immediately following that match.
Voting for the Award shall be conducted in the same manner and at the same time as the Positional Awards.
While voting is at the discretion of the judges, a guideline is given that where two players are judged to be of a similar standard but where one may have made his ‘debut’ the previous year, that preference would be given to the player who first competed at NRL level in the current year.
Points deductions for suspension will not have any bearing on the voting process but players who have been suspended twice in a season will be ineligible for an award.

I think Josh Reynolds will win it, I d rather Adam Reynolds win it, but think Hurrell is the best of the bunch.

If Ken Sio wasn't playing for the Eels he would be up there. been watching him play, Stephen Kearney managed to do one good thing while he was at the Eels.
