Australia definitely on the decline.. they will be lucky to beat Samoa next weekend…

Bit of an exaggeration - however it does show that they are not half the side when JT and Billy Slater are out. Add to that the Morris twins, Scott, Tamou, Gallen. We would have a better side sitting in rehab than was on the park.

Sounds like Wests Tigers 2014.

How anyone can call that a try for Hall is beyond me. He never had control, even though on super slow motion he had a fingertip on the ball on the ground (not on the bounce like they adjudicated). The way he crawled for the ball again after shows he didn't feel he grounded it. Gotta have control or at least have sufficient downward pressure.
In full speed not even close.

As for Jennings - try! He had full control until he planted the ball and planted it with pressure. Full speed no problem.

Gotta get away from the super slow motions.

I thought Woods was very good, got through a lot of defence. He's not a bash and barge prop thats going to bust the line, just needs to do a lot of hard work.

Robbie might get a game against Somoa, but his days in the green and gold are numbered whilst ever Smith is available. He may have played his last game for the Roos imo.

Poms very unlucky, blew a couple of try scoring opportunities. They were the better team and quite entertaining to watch. They've come along way. They were lucky to get away with holding the Aussies down so much though.

Aussies are sliding and confirms that Slater is the only Melbourne future immortal. Smith and Cronk look so much better for him being in their teams. Origin and now 4 nations is making that very obvious now.

Funny how people can call that Hall fingertip decision a no try but when they do slow motion replays for contested balls, knock-ons, players stepping over the line, we're talking centimetres and fingertips in these types of decisions also. Even when the player inadvertently doesn't know what they've done like Hall did. So if you don't get up cheering for the try or appealing for it like an lbw in cricket they won't give it to you. Australia should count themselves very lucky for progressing.

Yes our 4th string side scraped us into the final

australia's 4 string side still contains Inglis, Bird, Cronk, Smith, DCE, Papalli, Woods, Hoffman, Jennings, Thaiday and Corey Parker? all of whom except woods were in the RLWC squad last year. not bad…

also keeping in mind that for week 1 NZ were without Isaac Luke, Vatuvei, RTS, Pritchard, JWH, SBW, Sam Moa, Tom Leuluai and FPN who all played in the RLWC too.

Not knocking the side bud , just saying that the team we have off the park would probably beat the side we have on the park
