Roosters and rabbits

Missed the game as I was watching the F1 at the Bat & Ball while waiting for Sydney FC to kick off.

Will try to catch the replay as everyone has said it was a corker.

Roosters rabbits are soooo far ahead of The other 14 teams it's ridiculous.
They are getting better while everyone else is stagnant or regressing.
I know it only round 2 but I fear for our for and against next week and it will be a travesty if those two teams meet each other in the semis again and not the gf.

Yep the untouchables - no rules to abide by, no salary cap to contend with. Going from strength to strength year after year - it's such a fair comp :unamused:

its called good salary cap management. little off field BS. good training facilities/personell boosted by some nice TPAs.

chooks finished 13th in 2012

try following the tenessee titans or new york knicks and see how long it takes you to get from the bottom to the top. Off the top of my head i could probably name 5 teams in the last 5 years that have done that in the NRL, Parra, Tigers, Warriors, Chooks, Souths, Dragons, Broncos etc.

one of the most even comps in the world imo.

Tennessee have finally made a big splash in free agency. They might come good this year.

and come good would mean a superbowl or championship like most teams i listed there right? (bar the tigers)

That was a cracking game of footy. Best viewed as a neutral observer. I couldn't handle a game like that if the Tigers were involved.

2 weeks into the season and the referees are a farce already. And the Channel 9 circle jerk over the rabbits and Inglis is getting embarrassing. "He has his game face on". Oh f… off. He's a professional athlete. If he isn't ready to play by the time the whistle is blown he should be in park footy. Funny how it went quiet in the commentary box after the Roosters scored three quick ones.

Yeah they certainly get aroused over Inglis that mob,it's embarrassing TBH. Sure he is brilliant in attack but his defence is pretty bloody average more often than not…that pitiful attempt he made on Tupou is a case in point,it was reserve grade stuff. He is a fantastic frontrunner but when he is playing in a team that is getting beat he nearly always goes missing.

Great game, great squads.

What has impressed me with the rabbits is how much they have changed their style.

Last year they had that big powerful side run over teams and belt them on the edges, they lose T'eo and Burgess and have these skilful backrowers playing this brilliant game with great lateral ball movement with all these second man plays with all these running options.
McGuire must be one hell of a coach.

Superbowl no but playoffs yes.Not a bad jump from mediocrity.Super Bowls arent easy to win trust me I know.I follow the Denver Broncos and we've been favorites the last 3 years and have zero in the last 3.32 teams always makes it tough to be ultimate champion.
