Rosehill Saturday - Ladies Day

Anybody going to rosehill saturday, its ladies day. Some small fields are the order of the day though with only 79 acceptances, probably has something to do with races at Newcastle on thursday, canterbury park tonight and newcastle and rosehill saturday with kembla grange on sunday, followed by warwick farm on wednesday.

Sure the crowded calendar doesn't help but the prize money on offer tomrrow is a massive amount above any of those other meetings. I'd say it has more to do with the presence of some fantastic horses scaring off the opposition.

God knows why you'd race at Canterbury tonight though one day out from the carnival. That seems crazy. The rest of the schedule is pretty much par for the course. There is nearly always a provincial meeting on Thursday and Saturday.
