If the roosters finish bottom 4 this year, it still won't stop them signing massive names for unders next year, all saying the same thing about going there to win premierships.
It's always been a BS reason.

You just don't recruit star players overnight. It takes planning, freeing up of salary cap space, getting player manager(s) onside and third-party agreements to be put in place. Richardson's hardline and very long overdue stance on Galvin no doubt has frustrated the Roosters and a couple of other big clubs. If these one-sided results continue at the Roosters, expect this issue to ramp up.

Haas for sure. By most reports he is even fitter than the backs at the broncs

You can tell it’s legit too… his carries at the 25th min mark are ran at the same intensity as in the first couple mins of the game
 
A lot of smug kicks in the guts being delivered to the Roosters in here.

Yep he bends the line and needs 3 to get him under control on every carry. Doesn't matter who he is running at. He also takes the dirty carrys that no one else wants. A few times last night he shifted momentum early in the set when broncs were pinned on their line. The fact he can play 80 minutes at the same intensity blows my mind.

What about when he demanded the ball on last play, got himself 1 on 1 with a defender and offloaded to the Bronx #9. Got the smarts too

I can't see where people are happy when it's the Broncos making a huge statement and killing it... Give it a few more weeks and il be the usual Bronco bashing.
We really aren't in position to be talking spoons and bottom 4 to other teams... We've proved nothing yet

I dunno. I got a little bit of enjoyment from watching the Roosters get flogged last night. It isn't really any deeper than that to me.

I like to dream, but yea I would sign Haas on any money we could get him.

As a massive Olam fan, we did make a mistake in not going all out for AFB when we had the chance.
I think it shows that the guys who we had and were going to be "the next big thing" amounted to "not the next big thing". Would have traded Stef/Paps, heck with hindsight would have traded both.

Now to stop wishing... Who is actually on the market that is affordable for the tigers.
We really need a good ball playing 2RF. Canberra I think is the club to look at. There are going to be a lot of props/2rf not playing 1st grade who can there....

Do we take a punt on a youngster again? We seem to be ok at raising Twal/Stef/juniors who go on to be first grade forwards... They ahve worked out a lot better then Russel/Tamou/seniors who have come here.

Hopefully not if their season turns out to be a real stinker and there are question marks over the coach the tide may have turned with their charmed run, remember they have already missed a few targets a dud season could really put the joint on the nose, it's about time they come back down to earth we had to put up with it.
