LIVE GAME Round 11 v Rabbitohs

Live Game Discussion
Absolute joke. So sick of disappointment. Absolutely gutted by this club. Time and time again, no matter who coaches, what players we bring in nothing changes. I can't understand how we had crisp ball movement at Melbourne's line, then this week its just one out garbage.
Maybe the fact that the Melbourne game was during the day in the sun and the Souths game was during the night in the rain?

Same feeling, at the same point each year. Luai has been so disappointing this last month where we really needed him to step up

I'm not defending Luai here as I agree he needs to step up and hasn't delivered on what he came here to do. However he is playing in a completely different environment. What I mean by this is at Penrith the had TWO players straightening the attack for him in Yeo and Cleary. At the Tigers he has no one doing this. So as a sideways half, which he has always been, he isn't given the platform to play. This is shocking coaching from Benji to not recognise this. On the odd occasion we have had Latu on the field you see our attack completely change. If this wasn't a big enough clue for the coach then I'm afraid we are screwed. We need a middle who naturally plays straight, and a 6 who plays straight. That 6 without doubt us Latu (and yes I know he gets injured all the time) but his back up needs to play a simple role of playing straight. Maybe that's Kurt Falls. Playing straight is EVERYTHING and we have no one who does this. Benji not realising this is costing us a top 8 spot.

I honestly laugh at those who claim Galvin is an elite 6. That is embarrassing for those idiots. He will be an overpaid skinny backrower within 2 years. He has very little natural skill of a half. He even doesn't run with the ball in 2 hands. That's under 12 stuff. I can't wait for him to fail at another club.

the attack is horrible API has to do everything cause we have no set plays or anything Our season was literally just built on effort cause that's the only thing I see that's different from previous years a team that tries their best with decent players we rely so heavy on individual brilliance to score its a joke

Some interesting stats (as I can only see stats not the game). Also likely to be refined by NRL stats people.
Bula 308 run metres from 26 runs.
Turuva 240m from 24.
May 199m from 19.
Api 171m from 8 runs (what the??).

Bula 7 tackle breaks. May 6.
Api 3 line breaks.

May 63 tackles, 0 missed, 1 inneffective.
Api 57 tackles, 5 missed, 0 inneffective.
Seyfarth 50 tackles, 2 missed, 1 inneffective

To'a 3 errors. Galvin, Doueihi, Staines 2 each.

Naden 4 tackles, 4 missed 👍👍👍.

Never expected a win realistically, but I cannot understand Naden on the bench over Mason who could cover the whole backline probably just don't let him catch any bombs. Also really weird bench but injuries I guess. Please don't pick May for Origin or we could be in trouble if he's not ready for the Saturday game after.

If you look at the draw and the table we absolutely have to be favourites for the spoon

Luai said if he played for us last year we would've made the 8 but with a much better team this year and him in i still see us favourites for the spoon

We have no depth but would still absolutely honestly struggle to beat our reserve grade team

God i hate loyalty

It's the reason I still follow us

It's nice to see young Sukkar wants in at WTs. Playing him off the bench to get him used to the NRL is a good for him.

if this is the biggest postive for this game then we are struggling…think he had one run that I can recall

I’ll say that it was good to see them have a dig in the last 20 … gave themselves a chance ..
