I always thought Brooks had more in him, even up until he left the club. Maybe his development was stunted at the club, hard to say. Looking at Simpkin - same thing. Came with good wraps, could see some early potential but hasn’t really gone on to do much of anything.

Manly have had no middles all season. Tonight they are without Trbojevic, Paseka, Sipley, Aloia. They're probably their 4 best middles, plus the left backrower not there. Never going to look good behind a team missing that many forwards.

I'll rephrase that seen an interview yonks back where he said he thought himself as a running half what he said above was probably because that was wanted by the coach, what else could he say.

Needs someone to hold his hand, didn’t have it here after Moses left and won’t have it there after DCE bolts. I think Manly are starting to realise he won’t just step up as they thought.
Parra surprised me tonight, they went ok. But Eagles, that’s now 5 in a row they’ve lost ( I think). Time to recoup but Tommy Turbo looked really flat and when that happens you know they aren’t going well.
And Seibold, he’s got quite a record of underachievement and yet he still gets the big gigs ? Not sure why ?

They’ve been terrible but it’s likely they have too much talent for the spoon. Lots of young fellas with speed. Get Lomax and Moses back on deck and they’ll be dangerous.

I think both sides demonstrated poor defence at times. Brown also demonstrated yet again that he isn't worth 13M. Knight will need.to find a game.manager from somewhere because Brown doesn't have it in him. Our mate Brooks showed yet again that he doesn't have it either, although him giving out the odd spray is a step in the right direction for hin.

But I think you need a brain to be an organiser, not his strong point.
