With the style of footy we're playing Skelton and his dirty hitups are crucial. He got us on the front foot so many times last night and a lot of those times were from the kickoff.

As good as Luke L has been, he can hang in reggies until he's off to Perth.

So wing we have 4 choices:
Luke L
Turuva
Tino Tavana
Skelton

Turuva is class, not a fullback but someone who seems to be playing well at Center and helping other players play well.

Tavana has been decent, but really seems to have a lot of points of his game to refine. ...

Which is why I am so baffled on the pecking list above as to why Skelton seems to be the 4th preferred winger.

Did he actually ground the ball ?

I’ve only seen it in fast motion & it looks like Bula may have got his hand under the ball & then they both slid over the sideline .

H,mmm, Ok Galvin is playing bad but I will recognise he is at least playing for the Bulldogs.

Even his try wasn't that bad and I have no idea why the dogs want a strike 5/8 or lock to play halfback.

To be fair ... the ref's are in control.... at their pleasure..... on a whim... Radley should be in jail for drugs... especially he being a role model... but no .. worst tackle all season.. using his head against that Brisbane player and Roosters score.

Bula's try was so well put together and he has struck up a great combination with Pearce-Paul. Pearce Paul must be close to one of the most influential buys of the season.

It went like clockwork....you can tell when a well rehearsed play comes off the coaches are always all really stoked.
Though KPP was a bit underutilised....needed to see more ball

Wasn't good to see Luai charged down. If the ref's got that call right... could of been the end of us.

There was a period when momentum had swung the Bulldogs way and they had 14 straight tackles in our 20. Burton and Bronson Xerri didn’t get the ball once during that period because Galvin wanted to be the hero. He slowed down there attack and kept giving our defensive line time to reset. Maybe Cameron Ciraldo should focus on that.
