A full strength Tigers team can compete
Otherwise a weakened side needs the opponent to play poorly for the tigers to have any chance
In addition to the above Gal (I know not a brain surgeon) identified how big an impact missing Brailey is having on the sharks ( that’s one player)
Tigers are currently missing
1st choice centre
1st choice half
1st choice lock
1st choice 2nd rower
1st choice wingers are playing in the centres
and only just got back our
1st choice fullback
1st choice hooker
THE ‘SQUAD’ CAN’T COMPETE against teams under these circumstances, unless the opposition plays poorly/woeful.
Can’t expect miracles at this time
I posted these earlier, it’s not saying I’m happy with the result just the challenges that are hard to overcome
Someone else identified the roosters had 12 rep players from the the last 12 months playing for them this weekend
I think Penrith had about 8-9 rep players in their team this weekend
Tigers probably had abt 4-5 reps
It’s the roster, and more particularly the roster depth that is letting the everyone down
Players that ran out for the Tigers on the W/E would not even get close to playing at these other teams even with injuries
Tigers can cover maybe 1or 2 injuries to first choice players, not the current circumstances
Once again not happy with the result, just looking at the reality
