Round 18 Discussion

I love how dean pay gets pissed off at a penalty count

Meanwhile we get dumb and incorrect calls 3 weeks in a row, and our coach just laughs it off lol

I love that about Maguire also @TheDaBoss.
He is NOT saying Our Boys lost due to possible bad refereeing and or referring decisions [although I'm sure he does believe those decisions were just that ie crap] He IS saying though and has said 'if Our Boys play well enough those crap decisions won't result in Us losing games'.
He's putting it back on Our Boys to take the responsibility out of the Officials hands and 'winning' those close games, which after all are usually the Only games where a crap decision determines the outcome of that game.
By putting it back on Our Boys results in a positive attitude resulting in heightened self-belief and confidence. We aren't looking for help from those decisions that may go against Us, therefore there are no heads down followed by loss of concentration, followed by loss of energy, followed by loss of confidence. Our Boys keep their heads UP and win the game through THEIR OWN efforts in playing as a TEAM, for each other to improve and become better players individually. Then, We are on the way to become a FEARED :skull_and_crossbones: :helmet_with_white_cross: WESTS TIGERS 'TEAM'.
Have a great day everyone and remember "enjoy the footy' :relaxed:

All of our recent coaches have done that. I’ve haven’t seen a coach defend our honour against the refs since the days of Tim Sheens and he was the only only one who could turn it around for us. Anyone that coaches us now just seems to expect poor ref decisions to go against us and accepts them as a given. It’s sickening!

Madge worked with the NRL and referees. Handling this behind the scenes is more beneficial. We get dudded because we are battlers if that changes so will the calls. Every sport protects their stars and important markets we are not important to the NRL.
