I think the best way to play Dogs is to keep spreading it. They like to move with the ball in defence. Long passes, long pass, short pass. Keep doing that and you'll take their edge players out that don't do much actual defending.
 
Every team has developed this pattern of attacking where the halfback or the lock is quite close to the ruck, then they do second man plays or straighten depending on the defence.

A lot of Dog's defence is concentrated around the ruck and then they move quickly with the ball. I'd love to see a team like Raiders do two decoy players off the ruck for a long pass from dummy half to first receiver. It'll really catch them out I feel.
