I'm not down on him, I'm simply satimg that he is not a FG level 6 despite what some seem to think after today's effort. He kicked a few goals and got us home and had a couple of good touches sure. But his general play kicking was not up to speed and his lack of organisation (two consecutive FG opportunities) could have cost us dearly.

Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the win but some seem to think based on today he is a keeper. I simply disagree with this assessment. If we want to be a top 4 ckub AD needs to be plying his trade for one of the 13/14 clubs below us.
Youve been down on him.all year and not just at 6 but in the centers too...your posts about him seem personal...again today it was "he kicked a few goals" when in fact 100% got us home....same earlier in the year too...its just downplaying very positive parts of his game which seems to be something personal

Douehi has been getting better and better lately
Please extend him .He's a "heady footballer " got the footy smarts
Our previous win vs Dragons Douehi was instrumental with a try and a try assist .
Put him back in the centers instead of Luke L and that will fix one problem but need Luai to get thru Wed night unscathed
And show the same directness as Douehi. Without bagging Luai too much if you look at the difference when Douehi went to 6 v Manly last week and today, especially in the first 1/2 hour, but also his great pass to put Samuela over, it was so refreshing after the stop, start nature of our attack in so many games this year.
Luai was there today and hope he noted that for his return. He’s a good player but a dancer and that can stifle the attacking set up.

At times yes I have been negative about his play. Nothing personal about it though. In fact I lik ehis attitude - unfortunately the skill level doesn't match his belief in himself.

I simply made the observation that he is a poor 6 and I thought today demonstrated that in a couple of key areas. He is an average centre and is inconsistent. Nothing more.

His goal kicking today was excellent, a couple of his touches were as well. However, his game management was below par. If we are happy to accept that standard we have a problem.

I dunno maybe it appears to me youre a bit over critical of him...but yeh hes astop gap half...hes.never been elite and.like most (all )in our team have lots to work on.
Weve had.players all over the place lately...good to see the attitude back.after a tough.week in the media.for the club

wow , Thought the Mortermor's may have cracked that . Think there may be a statistic stating Mortermors scored all points in a game - back when

3 .negative things in the Stats
Sukkar only 29 m despite playing 80 mins ( he did 39 tackles only 3 missed tackles though )
Kit Lauliili only 10mins 1 run 22m and 1 bad error ) I think Benji must have hooked him after that .
Charlie Murray only small mins but 3 missed tackles imo Tristan Hope played really well and is good back up for Api
By the way Luke L had some strong runs but his missed tackles were crucial Benji likes him because as he said Luke " really wants to be here "
That's ok but still doesn't make you ready for 1st grade .
He's only a kid give him a bit more time in ressies Benji to improve his game !
Yeah Benji doesn’t seem to use his backrowers for yardage this season. Mainly effort players in defence & line or decoy runs in red zone structure. Sukkar did his job, a couple of costly penalties though, but was quite impressed with his efforts & contact.

I’m with Jolls on this one. One hot day doesn’t make a summer.

On his body of work he’s not a keeper.
Put it this way…So far Luai has failed to put high level back to back games at 5/8th together this year for us. Adam has achieved this.
On form, he is a better bet in the 6 currently and if Luai pulls up a bit lame after Origin, I’d be perfectly happy for Doueihi to wear that jersey again in EnZed.

he wasn’t high level today. He was rocks and diamonds.

Did you just state that AD is a better bet than Luai at 6? Really?

Yeah that’s true, he seems to have put the ACL’s behind him now and his defence has improved. Still has his weak moments, but I wouldn’t mind keeping him since he is finally finding some form. Hard for us now that the dick head manager has entered the equation though.
Doueihi is a perfect pickup for Perth. At 500 to 600k, he's a cheap half or a centre/utility on about the right money.

For us, we don't really need that, although he can plug a gap in the halves where, in my opinion, he provides the most value for us because you don't have to rely on guys that are out of their depth. The issue is the money for the return. If he was a bit faster, better defender, he'd be a good 14 with his primary position as lock and fill in at half/centre/fullback when needed. He just falls a bit short in speed and defence to consider the money he wants.

We will definitely need to find a half for 2026 that can make a difference in a game if we get hit by injuries/suspension/origin.

Inreallynthoight we were gone with about 10 to go....fuel tank was on E and beeping wildly
I thought our penalty was pretty soft really but glad to get the rub of the green for once
That beeping was for the seatbelt on the rollercoaster ride that is a Tigers game.

It’s not personal, AD is rubbish most games, this game he was about as good as an average 6 should be.
1 game doesn’t make a champion, he still owes us about 69 more decent games.
Joll’s is correct if we wanna be a top four team he needs to be playing NRL for someone else.

I think he'd said he'd be happy if AD gets the nod against NZ. It wouldn't piss me off either.

AD is a damn good footy player he's just not a superstar match winning centre. I like him more in the halves especially balancing out a running game type partner.

AD is fighting for a contract somewhere, Luai will be backing up origin and jumping on a flight to NZ jumping from one camp to another. I think Luai will get picked, but competition can build form... Ahem... Team first???

Tuckers stats analysis as shaky as ever but whatever, he's not totally wrong
