TEAM LIST Round 20 vs. Rabbitohs

I have said this before and I will say it again....the greatest players of the game very rarely make great coaches...but here at the WTs its anything goes because Benji gave so much as a player..wake up Richo and co and start getting professional..I loved what Benji,Robbie,Hieno and Morris bought as players,but coaching is a totally different ball game,we need NRL hardend coaches that can turn this joint around,we had Madge,Cleary,Potterand Sheens for a second stint and now we face spoon number 3..WAKE THE F UP...
 
Many giving the selections made for this week’s 17 a hard time. But realistically who else is there to possibly pick-
Naden? Matamua? Porter? Toa? Sullivan?
The same guys that have been tried before and considerably bagged for their efforts?
It seems Paps and Tupou, as well as Olam, Seyfarth and Api are unavailable.

Are we seeing the strategy in the team announcement where the Tigers proudly announce that “six players in the squad aged 19 years or younger”?

From the selections and that statement, has Benji put a fork in season ‘24 and is looking to what ‘25 might look like?

It will be interesting to see over the next few weeks if players like Bud, Naden, To’a, and Feledy get any game time in firsts and who will be moved on in the off season.

Mate agree about the coaching ,but it helps if they have good quality players.I feel we have been short in that area for years, as depicted in our results.

Who do you replace them all with?
He made 5 changes, 4 of which are all rookies.
Our squad depth right now sucks.

Our reggies aren’t performing (1 game last week against 2nd last team doesn’t count). The cupboard of options are terrible.

Somehow though we are spending 90% of the cap on this squad multiple years in a row - shows how bad our squad recruitment and structure management really is.

It astonishes me, how only one player was sacked after that disgraceful performance last week, Alex Lobb was the only player no accountability at all. What about Faataape, Sezer & Klemmer unbelievable.

True @Demps but an opportunity to draw a line in the sand is lost.

Benji will accept mediocre performances to try to keep the anticipated loss within 3 or 4 converted tries.

X just says shite, littering all over the forum to see his name up in lights on the “most recent posts” list at the bottom of the threads. I’m pretty sure he doesn’t mean harm by it, just having fun, and I’ve noticed a lot of his posts have that “your family is more important than footy” theme.

I think you left a couple out; Doobie and Stef?
Sure Lobb didn’t have a great game, but was he the main reason why blokes turned into turnstiles?
Is replacing Lobb the big fix?
Problem is if you drop Mighty Boy to reggys right now, you might as well tear up our offer. Bcoz there’s no way a softie can handle being dropped in the middle of contract negotiations. It would take a very self honest man to be able to look in the mirror and say I deserved to get dropped and I’ll sign on for a few more.
