I love the way Bellamy is so consistent with his strive for excellence. With his team up by 40 and 10min left on the clock he can go crazy like a meerkat on caffeine. Meanwhile some other coaches in similar situations are relaxed, smiling and patting themselves on the back.

I think they might come finals time, Munster still playing himself into condition although I think their forwards could be the soft spot.

If they do, that'll be the first time ever.
The only reason this club hasn't won 10+ premierships is because other clubs lift against them in the finals.
Storm will give us the same performance in round 3 as they will in the prelim final.

Absolutely Browney! Sometimes I wonder if too much focus is put on the scoreboard and not enough on the journey.
We won rounds 3 and 4, then another 2 wins in rounds 15 and 16. To me that indicates that we have a team that can win games.
When Brooks was here we finished 9th 3 times. Now he’s not only assured of a finals game, but it wouldn’t surprise me if Manly get to the GF.

I know the whole wrestling thing changed the way League was played (for the worse), but especially in the last 10 years, Melbourne have constantly set a high benchmark for the rest of the comp to follow.

The game we know today with the high physicality, high skill level and next level endurance, it's because of Melbourne's benchmark IMO.

The old saying you don’t win the comp in August.
There forwards are stronger this year than last and I’d give Munster a couple of more games to get up to speed.
